1) How to delete your account (in the app)
You can delete your account directly inside Pillaflow:
- Open Pillaflow
- Go to Profile
- Tap Edit Profile
- Tap Delete Account
- Follow the confirmation steps
Once confirmed, your account deletion request will be processed and your account will be removed from our systems, subject to the limited exceptions described below (backups, legal/security needs).
Important: Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account.
2) Request deletion without the app (web/email)
If you cannot access the app (for example, you no longer have the device), you can request account deletion by emailing:
- Email: ruzotechdev@gmail.com
- Subject line: "Pillaflow Account Deletion Request"
Please include:
- The email address associated with your Pillaflow account
- Your Pillaflow username (if known)
We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before deletion (to protect your data).
3) What data is deleted when you delete your account
A) Account and profile
- Email (account identifier)
- Username and profile details
- Profile photo (if you added one)
- App preferences (theme, language, currency, settings)
B) Your content in Pillaflow
- Habits and habit completion history
- Tasks, routines, reminders, notes
- Home module data such as chores and groceries lists
- Finance entries such as transactions and budget group data
- Health tracking data (daily logs and food entries)
C) Social features
- Friend requests and friendships connected to your account
- Group memberships, group invites, and group-related habit/routine participation associated with your account
- Online status / last seen indicators
D) AI-related data
- Any stored AI "action proposals" generated through the Pillaflow AI agent (e.g., suggestions to create a habit/task/routine)
4) What is not deleted immediately (limited exceptions)
A) Backups
For security and disaster recovery, copies of data may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period after deletion. Once backup cycles expire, the deleted data is removed from backups automatically.
B) Legal and security
We may retain limited records if required to:
- Comply with legal obligations
- Prevent fraud or abuse
- Resolve disputes
- Enforce our Terms
Where we retain data for these purposes, we keep it only as long as necessary.
5) Subscriptions (Premium) and cancellation
Deleting your Pillaflow account does not automatically cancel your Premium subscription.
Premium subscriptions are managed through:
- Apple App Store (iOS)
- Google Play (Android)
To avoid future charges, cancel your subscription through your Apple/Google subscription settings.
If you cancel, Premium remains active until the end of the current billing period (platform rules apply).
6) Notifications and device-only data
Local notifications
Pillaflow can schedule local notifications (reminders) directly on your device. Deleting your Pillaflow account does not always remove already scheduled device notifications automatically, depending on your OS settings.
You can remove notifications by:
- Turning off notifications for Pillaflow in your device settings
- Deleting scheduled reminders inside the app before deletion (if you still have access)
On-device storage
Pillaflow stores some data locally on your device (e.g., cached session and app preferences). Removing the app typically clears local storage, but this varies by device/OS.
7) Data export before deletion (recommended)
If you want a copy of your data before deleting your account:
- Go to Settings → Account → Export Data (if available), or
- Email ruzotechdev@gmail.com with subject: "Pillaflow Data Export Request"
8) How long deletion takes
We aim to process deletion requests promptly. Some deletion actions (such as removing data from backups) may take longer due to backup retention cycles.
