This page explains how you can delete your Pillaflow account, what happens to your data when you do, and what you may need to do separately before or after deletion.

1. How to delete your account in the app

You can delete your account directly inside Pillaflow through the account settings or profile area of the app.

In general, the process is:

  • open Pillaflow;
  • go to your Profile or Settings area;
  • open your account management or profile edit section;
  • tap Delete Account; and
  • follow the confirmation steps shown in the app.

Once confirmed, your deletion request will be processed and your account will be removed from our active systems, subject to the limited exceptions described below, such as backup retention, legal obligations, fraud prevention, and security needs.

Important: deleting the app from your device does not delete your Pillaflow account.

Please include:

  • the email address linked to your Pillaflow account; and
  • your Pillaflow username, if known.

To protect your account and personal data, we may ask you to verify that you own the account before processing deletion.

3. What data is deleted when you delete your account

When your account is deleted, we will delete or de-identify the personal data associated with your account where reasonably feasible and subject to the limited exceptions in this notice.

Depending on the features you used, this may include the following categories of data.

A. Account and profile data

This may include:

  • your email address;
  • username and display name;
  • profile photo;
  • profile settings and preferences;
  • reminder and notification preferences;
  • security-related settings, including account-level authentication settings; and
  • account records tied to your user identity.

B. Content you created in Pillaflow

This may include:

  • habits, completions, streaks, and habit settings;
  • tasks, subtasks, reminders, schedules, and archived task data;
  • routines, routine items, recurring plans, and completions;
  • notes and written entries;
  • focus sessions, timer-related records, and productivity session data;
  • calendar-related entries created and stored inside Pillaflow;
  • achievements, badges, milestones, summaries, and insight-related records; and
  • other personal planning or productivity content stored in your account.

C. Health, wellness, nutrition, and weight data

If you used health-related features, deletion may include:

  • water, sleep, mood, and wellness logs;
  • food logs, nutrition records, calories, and macro-related entries;
  • step-related records stored by Pillaflow;
  • weight logs, weight goals, and weight progress data; and
  • other health or wellness information you chose to store in the app.

D. Finance data

If you used Pillaflow's finance tools, deletion may include:

  • transactions and finance entries;
  • budgets, budget groups, and spending records; and
  • finance-related summaries and insights linked to your account.

E. Social and community data

If you used social features, deletion may include:

  • friend requests and friendship records;
  • searchable profile information;
  • group memberships, group invites, and associated participation records;
  • social interaction records linked to your account; and
  • account status indicators, such as recent activity records where applicable.

F. AI-related data

If you used AI features, deletion may include:

  • stored AI chats or AI-related conversation records, where retained by the Service;
  • AI-generated suggestions or action proposals associated with your account; and
  • related app records created to support AI-powered actions, reviews, or approvals.

4. What may not be deleted immediately

A. Backups

For security, resilience, and disaster recovery, deleted data may remain in secure backups for a limited period. Once backup retention periods expire, that data is removed or overwritten in the normal backup cycle.

B. Legal, fraud, and security retention

We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with legal obligations;
  • investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse;
  • resolve disputes;
  • enforce our Terms or other policies; or
  • protect the safety, rights, and integrity of the Service, our users, or third parties.

Where data is retained for these reasons, we keep it only as long as reasonably necessary and permitted by law.

5. Subscriptions and cancellation

Deleting your Pillaflow account does not automatically cancel your Premium subscription.

Premium subscriptions are managed through the platform you used to subscribe, such as:

  • Apple App Store on iOS; or
  • Google Play on Android.

To avoid future charges, you must cancel your subscription through your Apple or Google subscription settings.

If you cancel, your Premium access may continue until the end of your current billing period, subject to the applicable platform rules.

6. Notifications, integrations, and device-only data

A. Local notifications

Pillaflow may schedule local notifications or reminders on your device. Deleting your account may not always remove notifications that were already scheduled on your device, depending on operating-system behaviour.

You may need to remove them separately by:

  • turning off notifications for Pillaflow in your device settings; or
  • deleting reminders or scheduled items in the app before deleting your account, where possible.

B. On-device storage

Pillaflow may store certain data locally on your device, such as cached sessions, preferences, temporary app state, timer state, and similar locally stored information.

Removing the app will often clear local device storage, but this can vary depending on your device and operating system.

C. Third-party or device integrations

If you connected Pillaflow with device or platform services such as calendar, notifications, Apple Health, Health Connect, camera, or photo-library features, deleting your Pillaflow account does not automatically delete data that remains stored by those third-party platforms or your device outside of Pillaflow's systems.

You may need to manage or revoke those permissions separately in your device or account settings.

7. Data export before deletion

If you want a copy of your data before deleting your account, you should request it before deletion where possible.

If Pillaflow provides an in-app export feature, you may use that feature. If you cannot access such a feature, you can request assistance by email.

Export availability may depend on technical feasibility, account verification, and the specific data requested.

8. How long deletion takes

We aim to process account deletion requests within a reasonable time after verification.

Some deletion-related actions may take longer, especially where:
